A Belated Rantfest

I know I have been gone for quite some time now in the WAR blogger world, I really wanted to keep the lairs thing going... There is more than one reason why i lost interest in keeping this up:

• Lair Loot: Even after Itemizing, the loot wasn't anything special. Might have a different graphic or something, but the stats could be easily replaced with INF or PQ bag drops. There are some loot that sometimes would be an amazing drop for a class... the chance for it to drop combined with the next reason, really made people not even want to try...
  
• Lack of interest: Once people figure out that it has a 12 hour respawn time, and you get a group to follow you around... after 3-4 dead lairs, people start going back to the grind.
• Personal aggravation: For Example: You need to click on all 14 stupid headstones throughout the world to get into the lair of the defiler, along with 3 other people. Then once you do get inside the lair, it has crap for drops. Makes no sense to me at all.

There is probably more than those, but that is the main cause. I might re-do this lair information just to keep for the future.. but I will only be keeping that up, and nothing else... That is if Mythic can even keep me interested in the game. I guess the new "xpac" will decide that... I'm hoping they do something great with it, or it will be the end of WAR as we know it... I'm still never going back to WoW.

I guess if they actually make the lairs a bit harder... Like world bosses should be.. with improved loot... i would consider keeping this blog going, as well as paying a visit to the lairs as well..

PATCH 1.1!

Today is the day that 1.1.1 comes live. According to P.B.'s Youtube post, 1.1.1 should bring the new VP system.

Although 1.1.1 does not really note that the new VP system has been implemented, it does however note some other interesting things to do with ORvR.

Mysterious Love Letters from Mythic

Well, another interesting puzzle from Mythic has surfaced. I am too tired tonight to really grasp it, but i did notice interesting things in the letters written. go HERE to look for yourself. I will be editing this post after i get more rest.

Easiest Bestial tokens for Destruction

Just for a little post, i figured i would let you guys in on the easiest 2 bestial tokens to get once you hit 20, assuming you already did a trophy quest in Tier 1.

"Big Freeze" (Saphery):
Getting there is easy. Just fly to the warcamp in Avelorn. Once there, use the PvE road to get down to Saphery. You will hit the chapter 14, cant miss it.

1. Talk to Maedlaine Bloodwine in Kyaran's Advance (Dark Elf Ch14).
   She is located between the mailbox and Trelan Blightblade. (seriously, thats it.)

"For the Promise of Power" (Caledor):
For this one, head south in Inevetable City untill you go through a portal into The Maw. Once there, mount up (or use your legs) and head left. Follow the side of the zone untill you get to a Dark Elf Tent. There should be a portal right after that. Head into it, go through the Fortress area into caledor. From there, just head to the coordinates given here, and its another fast token!

1. Click on Mound of Dirt at 32k, 22k to recieve Scepter of Maggots.
2. Click on the Scepter of Maggots.
3. Click on Mound of Dirt again. The Scepter of Maggots will disappear and you will receive credit.

Quick way to get 2 tokens, takes maybe 10 minutes with a mount.

New classes to come?

I have taken a mini-vacation, but every where i go i seem to be in front of a computer. As i plucked away i came across this:

Very interesting, the overall consensus is that they will be, or announce the plan to, introduce the Slayer and Choppa' to the arsenal of classes.

This is just speculation though, No one knows for sure if mythic will even do anything on the 29th. Keep your eyes peeled.

Protip: T2 in T4

I know most people are making alts, and are looking for a quick way into a PL group. I was lucky enough to get into one last night, and i found something that seems to be pretty unknown.

When you head out of IC to the Maw, zone into what ever T4 tree you want to go to. For this example, ill just use chaos, since you are already located there.

Once you run your way through the maw, and into chaos wastes, visit the warcamp, and talk to the flight master. Once that is done, you will always be able to fly to chaos wastes, and either reikland or praag. If praag is in conflict, then you should be able to go to both, but at the moment i am posting this reikland is in conflict on my server and im unable to visit praag, but on the dark elf side i am able to visit etaine and dragonwake from caledor and dragonwake is in conflict.

Most might already know about this, but it just seemed good enough to post. I will be doing more lair posts soon, as well as starting another blog for non-lair stuff like this, for easier browsing.
